Emirates Red Crescent

The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) is a humanitarian organization based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It was established in 1983 with the goal of providing aid to people in need both locally and internationally. The ERC's mission is to alleviate suffering, support development, and promote social welfare, particularly for those affected by natural disasters, armed conflicts, and other emergencies. The organization operates a wide range of programs and initiatives, including emergency relief, health and nutrition, education and social welfare, and water and sanitation projects. The ERC has a strong presence in the UAE and has expanded its operations to many other countries around the world, including Yemen, Syria, and Somalia. It is a member of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and works in close collaboration with other humanitarian organizations to deliver aid where it is needed most.
