Tkiyet Um Ali

About

"Tkiyet Um Ali is a Jordanian non-profit organization that works to alleviate hunger and poverty in the country. The organization was founded in 2003 by HRH Princess Haya bint Al Hussein, and has since provided food assistance and social services to thousands of families in need. Tkiyet Um Ali operates on a large scale, with a central warehouse in Amman and distribution centers located throughout the country. The main program run by Tkiyet Um Ali is its food assistance program, which provides monthly food parcels to low-income families. The organization also runs a number of other programs, such as its Zakat Fund, which provides financial assistance to those in need, and its "Meals on Wheels" program, which delivers hot meals to elderly and disabled individuals. Tkiyet Um Ali is funded by donations from individuals, businesses, and the Jordanian government, and relies heavily on the support of volunteers to carry out its work. The organization has received numerous awards and recognition for its efforts in combating hunger and poverty in Jordan."
